Howdy Abby

Lets try and get some sound back into the system.
We are going to try several process:

1. To Mute or not to Mute

Your system may be in mute. In the task bar there should be a small volume icon, a gray speaker in the low right of your screen.

If it has a red cross through it, your system is in mute. To change this click the icon once and remove the tick from mute.

It this is not the case we move on.

2. Speaker settings

Go to :

Control Panel
Sounds and Audio Devices
Adjust Sound volume
Ensure that mute is not on and that sound is up at least 1/2 way

Under speaker settings click advance and ensure your pc is set to the correct speaker set up.

3. Am I plugged in...

Stupid I know but it may be the issue.
Make sure power is on and that all leads are in the correct place.

4. Drivers

Search on the Internet for your sound card and make sure you have downloaded the latest drivers for your system

I hope this helps
Please by all means email me if none of these work

All the Best
