my 1995 honda xr80r dirtbike is not running crappy because i try to get it to start but it won't i had the problem before i put new parts like: a top end gasket kit, piston and rings, clutch gasket, piston pin, and new circlips. It starts once in about 100 kicks and then dies 3 seconds later. It has a good spark and the filter is clean and and i uncloged the jets but i don't know if i streched the jets. I also don't know if its the right carb settings either so if anyone can tell me what is wrong with my bike, i would be so gratefull. thank you.

OK, go right to the basics, you got to have: compression, timed spark, fuel, and air. Air is pretty much a given, you said it has spark, so, check the compression because thats quick and easy should be at least 100psi to run and hopefully 150psi. If low, check your valve adjustment. Next you said the carb may not be right, well, get it right, buy new jets just to make sure (about $10) find out what the settings are and set it.
