Depends - are you intelligent, enjoy a glass of good wine, and can read a newspaper without wondering "What do they mean by that"? Do you laugh at Jeff Foxworthy, but really don't know people like he is talking about? Do you know what the inside of a dentist's office looks like? Do you have a diploma that you can hang on your wall from anything beyond high school? If so, you are a Cubs fan.

If you (a male) or your boyfriend/husband/family (if you're a female) wear wifebeater-T's, change their boxers once a week (whether they need to or not - no skidmarks?), refuse to pay over $3.99 for a 6-pack, got yer GED and sweat for a living (male or female), you are a White Sox fan.

Simple as that.

I am a Cubs fan, but I root for the Sox too. (Unless they're playing the Cubs of course.)

The way I put it is that I'm a Chicago fan, I like them both.
Just because u like the Cubs doesn't mean u have to hate the Sox, and vise versa.

I love how Cubs and Sox fans fight it is great LOL!!

Cubs fans accuse all Sox fans of being toothless hillbillies that have no class, don't support their team and trade their Marlboro miles in for tickets. Basically Cubs fans smart, Sox fans inbred.

Sox fans accuse all Cubs fans of being stupid spoiled yuppies frat boys and girls who don't care about baseball , and use Wrigley field for the worlds biggest beer garden and singles bar. Basically Sox fans salt of the earth, Cubs fans yuppie pricks.

The simple fact is that Cubs and Sox fans come in all forms even though they like to paint each other with a broad brush.

If you like the feeling of getting kicked in the sack every year - well the Cubs are for you.
If you work for a living, and don't wear sandals and shorts in November, then the Sox are for you.
If you don't really know the game well, and really want to just drink beer, and don't mind paying $7.00 for one when across the street they are $3.00, then go Cubs.
If you are the kind of guy who yells at the jagbag who stands up and with his phone to his ear waving to his friends to "sit down, watch the game, or go with your girlfiends to Wrigley", welcome Sox fan.
If you think Steve Bartman cost the 03 World Series, because you forget that there was ANOTHER game after that one, Hello Cub fan.
If you celebrate the fact that a mere 17 months ago you were celebrating a World Series victory - hello Sox fan.

Cubs all the way!! The cubs are so much more modest in the way they play, and they are such a better team! The Sox are WAY too cocky for me!

It's very simple.
Tell them The Truth.

The Cubbies are Chicago's #1 baseball team.
Cubbie fans are MORE loyal and dedicated to thier team.
The Cubs have style.

The whiney sux are a miserable organization with NO couth!
The players are rude and obnoxious and the manager doesnt know to keep his pie hole closed. Yes, they are times when you should speak out---but not when you have no manners.

"AND YOU CAN PUT THAT ON THE BOARD, YES!!!"
