First, don't believe all that you read about Virgos being overly picky, analytical, and fussy. I am a Virgo and though I have perfectionist qualities, that's not all that I am. I like things to be neat and orderly but it's not like that 24-7. Virgos are compassionate, love to help and serve others, and can put themselve's in others' shoes. Very bright, good talkers, and though we are quiet there are some that like to get loud and be in a crowd. Because of the different risings and moons and suns in astrology, not every Virgo you meet will be the same. If you cannot take criticism very well, it's best not to get mixed with them, because I know I tend to have some kind of "advice". Can appear to be stuck-up, and I am, but that's because Virgo's have high standards. Of course this is all from my POV, so meet a few and come up with your own conclusions.
