It's not just you man. Lance unfortunately was on a team that had two major Houston icons on it in Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio. Those two guys were the feature attraction.
This year Biggio's 3,000 hit his once again the main focal point in Houston. Lance will more than likely put up killer numbers but it will be the same old story.
Lance's story is simular to that of Lou Gehrig who was in the shadow of Babe Ruth.

It's not you. Berkman is a top-5 outfielder as well as a 1B... The best switch-hitter in the game right now.

Shhhh....dont start telling everyone how good he is. I have been landing him in the 2nd round of my fantasy drafts (twice at the end of the 2nd) and even got someone to take Hafner straight up for him in one league. Wait until he has the thundering bat of Carlos Lee in the same lineup...now teams wont be as able to pitch around him. I am liking my lineups....lets wait until the drafts are all over before we tell everyone how good he is!

I hate to say it but the most underrated superstar is Freddy Sanchez from the Pirates. He won a batting title and is rarely mentioned and he fields well and gives it his all on every play. If you watched the All-Star game you would see what I mean. He plays three positions frequently and had a .344 batting average which is, again, Th batting title winning average. He can do it all.

You might be right. He is a stud player that no one talks about because Sportscenter forgets that they play baseball outside of the East Coast.

Nope - it's not you. And with Carlos Lee batting around him this season, he should get a little more recognition for his skills this year.
