I think Quinn is a good choice since of Charlie Weis being his coach in college, and he knows the NFL better than most quarterbacks in the draft.

Quinn has the NFL smarts, thanks to Weis... And is a great young talent that could turn this team around.

Even beyond that, Quinn is a charismatic, good looking young kid who is destined to be one of the more popular stars in the league. Detroit needs a face for their franchise, and somebody to lead them for the next few years... Quinn is that guy

Joe Thomas because i have seen him play high school through college and have never seen him have a bad game but i think the lions will go with Brady Quinn because they are dumb but i dont think that Brady Quinn will be a bad player but i dont think they should take him then with the second pick.

The Lions will ruin Brady Quinn. Brady better pray he doesn't end up there.

With that said, the Lions SHOULD draft Joe Thomas because offensive line is a need of theirs, Kitna doesn't suck that badly and the receiving core can hold its own.

But, I do fear they actually will draft Brady. Calvin Johnson not so much, but that would be the comedy option.

neither. The should take DE gaines adams. Drafting tackles high often fails and is not worth risk. To me Brady Quinn projects to the NFL as an Eli Manning type QB. Gaines adams would strengthen that d-line and make a big impact for many years.

As long as the Lions don't blow their pick for a WR its all good. Kitna has promised good thing for the lions but they can't not get anything done with the line they have. Quinn would be great for their QB of the future but Thomas would be a good addition to the team and help them out more.

Anyone who thinks the Lions should draft a quarterback is crazy. I don't know where people got the idea that they would draft Quinn. All Marinelli talks about is Jon Kitna being his man. They will either take Thomas or a defensive player. THEY WILL NOT DRAFT QUINN OR ANY OTHER QUARTERBACK. Best answer please.

Raiders will take Calvin Johnson, then Detroit can take Joe Thomas because they have a QB and RB that need an offensive line. Cleveland will take Quinn and Tampa will then trade with Oakland J.Russell for Calvin Johnson and give Oakland an additional draft pick...watch

They should take Thomas. Doesn't mean they will. Thomas gives them the better chance to improve THIS season by improving the offensive line immediately. Nothing against Quinn, but he won't be at his best being protected by the line the Lions had last year.

Brady Quinn. The 3rd best QB is Drew Stanton, who is projected in 3rd Round. This is a deep O-Line draft. So wait until 2nd or 3rd round to get Linemen.

Quinn is the better fit. Det. just signed 2 lineman so Thomas wont be the pick even though I'd like to see Quinn go to cleveland or minnesota.
