How do you set margins to 1 inch in Microsoft word?

1. Go to "File" in the upper left hand corner.
2. Click on "Page-set up" it should be third on the list.
3. A box will pop up..When it asks about margins, set them all to 1.

Go to File > Page Setup. You can set the margins there. You can also adjust them in the Print Layout.

This should show the margins at the top of the page. (If not, select View > Ruler.)

In the ruler area, you'll see three areas; left margin, center area, and right margin. Drag the right and left margin markers to the 1 inch position.

Hi astaticsilverstein, Open Word and at the top left click on "File", Select "Page Setup", Select the "Margin" tab and adjust the margins to whatever you want. Norm
