Hi

Its best to try stuff on before you buy it to make sure it fits.

If they dont have belt loops theres not much you can do other than get them altered or sell them on ebay?

You could fairly easily make a slit in the waist band and put some elastic through there and sew it back up if you have basic sewing skills....

....and for taking them up either sew them up or you can buy this mesh tape stuff that you iron on and it shortens trousers that way. Its great stuff I use it alot as its quick and easy to do and it lasts a long time. You can wash them etc and it doesnt come un stuck.

Get a tailor or a friend/family member who is excellent at sewing and see if they can hem your pants and add on belt loops. As for the waist, that may be difficult to change-'not sure though.
If all fails, just sell them on Craigslist.com or to a person who might be able to wear them.
May I ask though, how come you bought them if they are too big for you?

Best of luck!

Well just cuff the bottom of the pants a little and wear shorts or something to make it fit more! if any of those dont work i dont know what to say but you'll need to get it alterated or give them to someone :(

Try putting them through the dryer a couple of times.

If that doesn't work, you can try the old fashioned way : use safety pins to make the waist smaller and hem the pants up to around your ankles. Why didn't you hold them up to yourself, or check the tag inside?

I always have a problem buying pants that are the right length, so I get my grandma to hem them.

& the waist issue, I'd get a belt if I was you.

Lots of saftey pins? lol

Best thing to do is get them altered, you will be glad you did. The fit from some well tailored pants is really awesome and flattering.

P.S. - Remember to try things on and not sight-buy!

if you haven't already tried altering them, you could sell the pair you have and buy a new smaller pair for yourself! sorry if that's not very helpful but i can't really see any other choice!

Just take them back and get a different pair. Or try another store.

Give them to the Goodwill or Salvation Army.
