Do you mean Thesis Sentence? A topic sentence would be a sentence that expresses the point of just one of your BODY paragraphs. The sentence that expresses the point of your entire essay would be a thesis sentence.
I'm going to assume you mean "thesis sentence." Before deciding on a thesis, you'll need to figure out what you want to say about this teacher. To do that, brainstorm some ideas about your topic. Set a timer for 10 minutes and write down any and all ideas that come to you about the topic. Don't edit yourself. When you're finished, look at your list and see if all your ideas add up to one overall point. Express that point in a sentence.

How about....... Most teachers teach you all that they know about different academic subjects, but my teacher has made an amazing difference in my life.
