get to know your kids friends and their parents. look for mutual interests. explore your own hobbies and pursue them. even volunteer time will get you out and meeting people. don't be shy. good luck.

Depends on ur age...go online, make some new friends...get together for coffee, or a few drinks, take up a hobby...i like to shoot pool, some people get into bowling, take on a second job at a fun place...make freinds that way...join a gym, everybody could benifit from that, you'll definelty meet some interesting people...u can chat with me if u want...im on combodeal2 at yahoo.com.....im a single mom of 4, i got ya beat!!

Try getting involved with a group that interests you. Here's a website I used to find a group about anime but I'm sure there's a group you could get in that interests you.

If you want to get in a relationship I would suggest some light dating to get back into the feel of it. Some friends of yours might have guys that'll be good for you.

Make friends and personally grow in all areas to make yourself very and wholly attractive. You want partnership, learn to be a good partner. Then settle for nothing less.

Maybe try to hook up with your children's friends mothers. They may be going through the same thing as you. Or you could join a knitting circle or join a dating service
