Are you reading the commercial license book? I know that class a,b,and p are commercial licenses.(tractor trailer, school bus, etc)
A = tractor trailer
B = lighter truck (not sure of weight limit)
M = motorcycle
p = passenger (for bus)
c = lighter vehicle (not sure of weight limit)

It depends on the area of course, but for the most part "A" is for driving an 18 wheeler, "M" is motorcycle endorsement, and "C" is the standard license. It should explain in the manual if you keep reading.

It varies state by state what the letters mean.

Most of those are certifications for commercial trucks, buses, semi's, hazmat, motorcycles, etc.

Most people get a regular automobile driver's licence, obviously.

If you are just trying to drive a regular vehicle...Then C,Trailer(the big 16-18 wheelers) is Class A......I'm not sure about the rest i do know that one of them is for a motorcycle.

look at your Vin number. This question is too ambiguous to give you a safe answer. Especially since we do not know the type of car and engine and transmission configuration.
