The easiest way is to get rock salt because you seem to need a lot....mix it with water and power detergent and spray the whole mess with that mixture....the salt will dry the plant out and the detergent helps it stick to the plants....it works on poison ivy as well and if you really wet the stuff down it wont spring back up...I have had to treat areas several times as it dies back to get it all out but it is cheap and it doesnt hurt the soil or water supply
