the ticket was 220 $ but since it's a work zone it's doubled, I know I have to pay it coz the court told me that the cop has a video of me speeding, but the question is , Is there anyway that I can get it off of my record ?!?!

Congratulations. You will a double fine for it being in the work zone. You get it off your record by time (generally 3 years) going by and no tickets to replace that one on your record.

Contrary to what scottyusa1 said, you can't take a defensive driving class for speeding in a work zone. If you think you have a chance in court, go; if you don't, you'll just have to pay the fine.

If it's any consolation, my insurance rates didn't hop up when I got a similar ticket.

Take a safety driving class ~~~ check the Yellow Pages. Pass the class and they remove the ticket from your record after you pay the fine.

you shouldn't, slow down dude ! kids daddies work there ! it's called '' work zone '' for a reason. hey , i drive like dale jr, on the highways too, but near schools and work places, you gotta slow down, never know who'll dart out. just like when a ball comes bouncing across a street, you know a kid is chasing it.
