HMMMM..... Curious are you getting a body shop to pierce your ears or a little shop, such as a salon or Claire's. I have never had studs. I refuse to allow anyone to put a piercing gun around me. Those things cause damage, and yeah they hurt a little. I had my lobes pierces with a gun and it took nine months for them to heal, after the infection. My advise go to a body shop or tattoo place. They do it with needles. That way the is no damage done to the inside of the ear, and you can have whatever your heart desires for your first earring. Trust me I have 12 holes in my ears, my belly button, and tongue pierced. Just go with your guts on the first pair, and always choose at least a 14k gold. This way no way for infection. Oh, and no cleaning doesn't hurt, its the pulling that hurts when your combing your hair and accidentaly catch your new earring.

if you have dark blonde hair I would either get the pink, or baby blue. .... stay away from the dark colors, they really aren't flattering in studs..... The lighter colors are sweet, attractive, and simple.
Yes at first it will hurt to clean your new studs. Not a lot, but enough for you to remember they're there. Best advice, use a Q-tip with the solution on it and be gentle going around the back of the earring. Keep your hair off of them for the first few days because your hair carries a lot of oils that can infect your new pierces which is the mistake a lot of people make. And remember that the more you rotate the stud, the less the pierce will hurt.

Yep... You may be allergic to metals and only be able to wear gold, so you may have to just get a regular gold stud. There are different kinds you can get, Claire's has lots of cute little styles. During the first few weeks it does hurt to turn them, you have to turn them all the time, cleaning them doesn't hurt, it just hurts that you have to touch the area, which hurts for the first few days/weeks..... You should play it safe and get a normal GOLD stud, because if your allergic to metals, your going to have to go through the pain of having an infected ear and it's going to take longer for it to heal up to get it re pierced. You only have to wear it for a little over a month, then you can change it.... If you are going to get silver, try a pink or blue... a diamond is cute too. Just don't get one that is too small or if your ear swells enough, it can start to sink into the piercing, and that really hurts! It happened to my monroe and I had to deal with the pain for months...

Back when I had my ears pierced I didn't have a choice, I had a gold stud and that was that lol. It doesn't hurt to clean them, I was about 4/5 years old when I got mine and it never hurt when I cleaned them.

I just recently got my ears pierced 3 weeks ago. And I also was having trouble about what studs should I pick. I picked some ones that are daisies and their white gold. And they cost $30. It hurts a little but when its all done you'll tell yourself that it wasn't that bad. And no it doesn't hurt when you clean them. The lady who pierced my ears gave me some stuff to clean my ears with and she said to buy some cotton balls and but the liquid stuff on it and just dab my ears with it. It doesn't hurt.

i have my ears pierced 4 times on each side so far... the bottom hole are just like a little sting and the top are just like a little sting with a pop sound...it don't hurt when you clean them...use bacten (which is what i use) or the cleaning solution that they request you buy with a q-tip and change sides on each ear...never reuse one...and for color i would recommend something that you like that you can match with your hair and whatever color of cloths you wear most of...DON'T change your ear ring before you are supposed to it will increase the chance of infection believe me trial and error! and a stud so you can get used to them and not get them caught in your shirt or brush for unwanted pulling

Nah, it doesn't hurt when you clean them. It just feels funny because the wet stuff you put on your ears is REALLY cold. As for color-you can get one that matches with everything like black or white. Feel free to choose your favorite color-it doesn't matter if it doesn't match your hair or clothing color.
When I got my ears piereced this past September, I chose diamond earrings. :)

You'll love having your ears piereced. Imagine all of the cool kinds you'll be able to wear soon!! Don't feel worried about them or anything. I thought they would hurt and when the needle went through my ear lobe, I closed my eyes tight and went completely stiff. But I opened my eyes and saw that I had nothing to fear. You feel a little uncomfortable but it goes by so fast that you don't have time to really freak out. It just goes through your lobe just about as fast as the speed of light!! By the way, if you want to, you can get both ears done at the same time. I had one lady on my left and another one on my right and they piereced mine at the same time on the count of 3. It goes by faster, I think and it's just so much better that way in my opinion. :)

it hurts a bit, but not horrible. The stud? maybe a fake diamond one.. or just the plain silver for now.. its not long before you can put in new studs and silver works with everything. Make sure to mention if you have any metal allergies so they can use the right studs on you

it particularly is in basic terms a piercing, can not you wait until eventually your sixteen? you may harm you mum and dad thoughts in case you bypass in the back of their backs. No i does not harm. there is greater of of undertaking of your ears getting contaminated in case you get it pierced with a gun, it particularly is ultimate to get it performed with a needle (frightening i know) inspite of the undeniable fact that it particularly does not harm, for a split 2d it hurts a tiny bit yet then the ear is going numb. Gok Wan has stretched ear lobes, so except your making plans to stretch your ears, i might choose for the stud. good success on however you %.

It does not hurt to clean them as long as you are careful & you clean them every morning and night. You should get your fav color or just like silver or something.
