Tell my grandfather to kill it. I had a bad experience with a spider a few years ago. I've hated and been afraid of spiders ever since.

it is unlucky to kill a spider , you get a glass put it over the top ,piece of paper under the glass, retain the spider ,open the door/window and evict the spider

Naw - I wouldn't get up or scream... I'd watch it for awhile... try and see what it is up to... observe it with wonder... and then remove its life from the face of the earth... tissues in hand work well.

If it was moving, I'd scream. If it was still I might just manage to react calmly - its when they move quickly I get scared!
