I recommend Mrs. Stewart's Bluing, it's pretty good stuff and has always worked for me. It won't ruin elastics and stuff like bleach, and bleach also tends to yellow things.

Bleach, baby! Good old $2.00 Clorox will do the trick. I've even added whites-only bleach with some colored items in my wash and it didn't damage the clothing or fade the color (at least not perceptibly) and in fact it removed a small stain that had been there for a long time and I couldn't get out by other means. But with an all-white load of wash, follow the directions on the bottle and maybe add a little extra, especially if they are really dingy. If you don't feel okay about using whites-only bleach, try one of the colors-only bleach. It may take a couple of washes but it will work.

Bleach, infant! stable old $2.00 Clorox will do the trick. i've got even extra whites-purely bleach with some colored products in my wash and it did not harm the clothing or fade the colour (a minimum of not perceptibly) and in certainty it bumped off a small stain that were there for an prolonged time and that i could not get out via different skill. yet with an all-white load of wash, shop on with the guidelines on the bottle and perhaps upload a sprint extra advantageous, particularly in the event that they are truly dingy. in case you do not sense ok approximately utilising whites-purely bleach, attempt between the colours-purely bleach. it would desire to take a pair of washes besides the shown fact that this is going to artwork.

First, this is caused by using too much detergent. RIT sells a whitener which is the best thing to use. It is called RIT whitenener and you can find it at varity stores. Also, add about a 1/2 cup of lemon juice to your wash with the detergent. Also some baking soda will help added the same way.

Tide with bleach works great, especially if you soak the clothes in it for a while (even overnight, if they're really dingy).

Hi

You can either leave them to sock in bleach.... but only do this with proper white items.

Or

Buy a stain remover like vanish and wash them with this. I find vanish is pretty good stuff. For really tough stains you can leave it socking. ALways gets whites brighter.

Oxi-clean, or bleach. Bleach can be a little risky bc it can eat holes and break down the materials of your clothes.

Bleach can be harsh to certain materials, so i would try a detergent w/ bleach alternative and add a laundry booster or oxy-clean.
