I am writing a novel and I need someone who is really good with World History and US History to help me out. I want to make this story as accurate as I can get it. I will also put your name in my book in the the Thank You section when my book gets published.

I would recommend contacting a professor who specializes in the area of history that you're looking for, by sending him/her a letter detailing your situation and needs (asking if you can come in to visit during their office hours perhaps?). If that person is unavailable, try someone else. What you're asking for sounds like it could be a lot of work, and unfortunately these people don't have a lot of time, so I would be prepared to do a lot of leg work yourself. (You might be able to ask them specific questions, but then follow up with some reading on your own.) That journey will probably lead you to some great ideas for your novel as well--good luck!

Depending on the area, I'd be happy to help - I've been looking in to getting in to someting like that. I am a history teacher, and studied history in college.
