No, Bloo, the damage has been done. Peeling is the body's way of getting rid of dead skin. There are things you can use to relieve the soreness, and aloe vera is the most effective, if you use the plant rather than the commercial products, but as the skin is already dead, you can't stop the peeling. Brag about it - they'll all want to peel a bit off. Don't let them, though. That could REALLY damage your skin!

Aloe is good for sunburns in that it helps the skin heal. The top layer of skin that is already dead will probably just keep peeling off, but perhaps the next layer can be helped.

non-scented lotion will help. But honestly, once it starts peeling just pull the peely-stuff off and wash it gently. In the future, wear some sunscreen and if you do get burnt, put some aloe-vera on it ASAP and later a cool washcloth to bring some of the heat out.

Well the best thing for a sunburn is normally Aloe Vera. It might not help much now, so you may just want to try a deep moisture lotion. I personnally am a fan of several different Aveeno lotions.

Constantly apply lotion. Your peel because you skin is dried out keep is moisturized. when you get out of the shower before you dry off apply baby oil. Then pat dry. Before you put on clothes put on lotion. This will make your skin soft and keep the moisture in. Of course apply more lotion throughout the day were you were burnt. i know aloe helps with the pain but i don't know if i will help with peeling.
