If you have an affair and the sex is better, will you ever be satisfied in your marriage again?

You should have never crossed that line to begin with. Has everyone forgotten what marriage is all about. If you crossed that line in general you shouldn't be with the other person anymore. Why should they have to suffer for your mistakes.

If you had an affair it must be more than just sex that you are lacking. If I was having an affair I sure will not be in a good marriage. If you were never in a good marriage in the first place/you were young at the time when you got involve, How could your marriage be satisfied all over again? It's not going to happen no matter how much counseling you have it will always come back and haunt you.

Sex is sex, its the feelings behind the sex that will determine if you will ever be happy in your marriage again. I think once the love is gone its very hard, sometimes impossible to get it back. Everything has a solution. With counselling, sometimes a mediocre marriage can become wonderful. If the sex is bad in your marriage, then that too can be fixed with good honest communication. Good honest and open communication will fix most anything if both couples are open to change.

You just have to decide if it is really the sex that is better, or the feelings you have that make the sex better. Whatever the case, if you want your marriage to survive, its the problems you need to work on so your spouse WILL be your love, your lover, your best friend and your confidante.......and your marriage will become strong.......communication is the key.

Yikes! That is a good one. I guess you can try to get things going with your spouse. You don't say if the sex was ever great with your spouse and that over time it got kind of boring. If so, you've got potential. If not, you may have to work a bit harder. The other thing is that being with someone new is a big thrill in itself. Hopefully (and people may disagree with me here) you didn't tell your spouse you were having an affair. I think that pretty much seals the deal about having great sex.

Anthing is possible. It depends entirely on the couple. If you do it, the sex is great then your spouse finds out... you will then learn how much you've risked losing. You may have actually lost it by that time. If in fact you were then in that position and you realized that you lost the best thing that ever happened to you - and you are miserable in your loss - then if you were actually ever allowed back into your spouses bed again, I'll gurantee that'll be the best sex you've ever had - because then you'll KNOW how much you love the person and that will enhance the sex like no pair of fabulous boobs ever could.

Absolutely not~~~~ why would you stray in the first place unless your weren't getting satisfied at home, This just made it worse and will most likely lead to divorce. If the sex was better will the new partner, you'll always be thinking of that person, making it unfair for your spouse. People also forget about all the sexually transmitted disease out there that you can now bring home...how will you explain that to your spouse?
