What kind of disc do i need for DVD?

i want to burn a movie i bought off itunes onto a cd. what kind do i need and do i need a dvd burning system as well?

HELP!

1) iTunes movies actually can't be burned as DVDs that will play on a DVD player. This is because of DRM.

2) Yes, to burn DVDs you need a DVD burner.

You can put it on a cd and just watch it on a computer but to burn and watch it dvd player you need a dvd burner.
