Fish resting on plant?

My cousin's fish is resting on the plants in the aquarium... (the leaves) and I don't know what it is.

many types of fish will stop and rest on the plants, all my bettas do it. Some more than others.

Fish sleep with their eyes open. Don't scare it.. you might cause fish night terrors!

We need to know what kind of fish it is...some fish do that...others don't.
