"he is a very conceited boy." Several interesting points- the last line is in the present tense whereas the rest of the poem is in the past. It's almost as if the princesss rather the price be a frog by the way she describes the way he acted around her. As a frog, she was above him. The title, as it says she was astonished, suggests that she DIDN'T want him to be a handsome price. That would dimish how important she was; since he would be of the same status as she- a handsome prince = a beautiful princess. As a frog she has the power. As a prince, she loses that power which is why the last line is important. She tries to lessen his status as a prince by calling him a conceited boy. How ironic it is too that in saying this, she is actually the 'conceited boy.' She gladly welcomed the adorning, the way the 'frog' worshipped her, etc. but now that she realizes he is a prince, she quickly puts up her guards calling him conceited when really it is she who is conceited. The frog in a sense symbolizes inner beauty. It isn't what you see but what is portrayed- the frog did nothing but tell her how great SHE was. The prince threatens her status and power and also proves how shallow she is..

I could go on but I feel like I'm talking in circles. Hopefully some of this gives you a lead. Good luck.

Did you write this? Wait ... don't answer that. I'd have to say the line "he worshipped me" is the most interesting (although it was a difficult decision due to the fact that all the lines were equally bad). The first line sets the tone for the poem, if you want to call it that, which is why I "like" it. I noticed that the title is almost as long as the "poem" itself. The author (which I'm hoping isn't yourself) might have been trying to bore his/her audience, but my guess is that he/she was attempting to convey a sense of irony in that both the princess and the frog-turned-prince are alike (hopefully moreso in personality than appearance.)

Can I have my 40 points now?

"he's a very conceited boy" surprised me b/c that changed the meaning of the poem--it implies that the princess regrets kissing the frog; perhaps she would have been happier with her prince in frog form because then he was at least humble. Now, it looks like he'll be high maintenance in human form.

You didn't provide the title.

You don't have any way of giving me more than 10pts, so...yeah sorry, just try to be creative and have fun with the paragraph.

Hope it helps!

'he's a very conceited boy' is the most interesting line in the poem. as a frog, he was nice to the princess because he needed her to turn him into a human.
once the character got what he want from the princess (the transformation to human form), he changed his personality from amiable to conceited.
he receives the charity of the princess in the form of a kiss. she helped a creature less fortunate than herself. as a prince (someone with the ability to help the less fortunate) the boy does not practice the kindness that gave him his looks, wealth, and status.
