Remove subsidies for firms, privatise state owned companies, reduce government intervention (taxes, social security etc...).

Liberalization means to free the economy from government intervention. Free markets, privatization of whatever government services can be privatized, free trade, etc.

Don't confuse the term with 'liberal' in the political sense.
They can be polar opposite in economic beliefs.

You can't make the enconomy a liberial ideology, its about capitalism, self gain and profit! there is no room for equality in profitering that just defeats the purpose of financial movement be it gain or decline. Looks like we'll have to settle with guidelines and moderaters for now at least untill the start handing out winning lotto tickets to cash in.
