I would recommend getting another opinion, but from a dr in a different town since you don't trust the drs in your area.

When I started my journey with chronic pain in 1997 I had a few drs try to tell me nothing was wrong, that it was in my head and stuff like that as well as trying to blame it on my IBS when it turned out my problem was actually endometriosis. I have other issues besides my endometeriosis now but it was very frustrating at the time.

I dont personally get the pains but my sister does. I think it if fairly common for girls to have some syptoms during ovulation. I always get a sick feeling, but others have pain. I woudn't worry about it, expecially if it happens during the same time every month. But if you are still concerned, try recording the pains for a few more months to make sure they are happening at the same times. Then go see another doctor. Good Luck!

You are not dying! This happens to me every month. Some people when they ovulate get what feels somewhat like cramps. It's nothing to worry about, you're going to live. You'll just have to live with that little bit of pain every month! There's nothing you can do for it!!!

Look up this word online: mittelschmertz. It's the word for the pain that occurs when ovulating. Loosely translated, it means "pain in the mid-cycle". It is a real word used in physiology textbooks.
