I prefer creative zen

I've never had an IPOD because I've always found my creative players to be so relaible.
I take my zen plus all over the country, in my handbag, gets it's fair share of knocks and bumps along the way and it's never let me down.
I'm not the most IT literate and yet even I find it easy to use and have no problems loading everything on it and organising my files.
It also has the benefit of being able to be laoded with tracks from multiple sources rather than being tied into Itunes.
Never been tempted to change over to IPOD and can highly recommend it to you.
PS One slight niggle is there is no instruction manual with it but that hasn't really caused me any problems.
Hope you're happy with whatever you choose.

The Creative Zen V Plus is the more reliable one, and it has more features. Best of all, you don't need iTunes to copy your songs onto the player. You can use all kinds of programs, or you can simply drag- and- drop them.

Thats a tough question, the Creative is more durable, in the terms of holding up to damage, nanos are too thin and could easily break, while the creatives are think and subseptible.

The ipod nano is more reliable.

I've had both and creative are certainly more reliable
....
But
I've stuck with my iPod as it's much more user friendly and the one I have now hasn't had any problems.
Keep those fingers crossed!

Shows more stuff, you can have pictures/contacts/anything pretty much.
On the Zen you only have songs.
