My friend was just wondering something. She loves the musical Wicked and when she gets older and if she can try out, she's just curious what part would be good for her. This is basically her whole profile.

Height: 5 ft

Weight:110

Hair Color: Redish Brownish

Eye Color: Brown

Skin Color: White

Vocal Range: Sings soprano, but ranges from a low F sharp to a really high B flat.

Strong Points for Glinda: Popular, Thank Goodness, Dear Old Shiz
For Good, Finale, What Is This Feeling, Defying Gravity

Strong Points for Elphaba: No Good Deed, Defying Gravity, The Wizard and I, As Long As Your Mine, Something Bad, For Good, What Is This Feeling, I'm Not That Girl

Strong Points for Nessarose: Dancing Through Life, The Wicked Witch of the East

Dancing Level: Somewhere between Intermediate and Advanced.

Let me know what you think!

Actually this is not quite her whole profile. Far from it, in fact. The first question that pops into my mind is: Can she act? A brief summary of her experience on the stage would give me a better idea about that.
The next question that comes to mind is: What does "when she gets older and if she can try out" mean? For example, if your friend is 12, her height, weight and vocal range will likely change by the time she's able to audition. Including her age would add volumes to her profile.
Finally, I'm wondering what is a "low" f sharp and a"really high" b flat? Are we talking about a two octave range or a twenty octave range? "Low" and "really high" are subjective terms that don't always mean the same things to everyone who uses them, so don't really tell me much.
That information has much more to do with her casting possibilities that her hair color (changable, or use of wigs if need be), eye color (unnoticable past the first row) or lists of songs sung by various characters.

hair color and skin color dont matter for elphaba, she is painted and wears a wig anyways, and there is a wig for glinda too. but i think for glinda she has to hit a little bit higher than a B, so i would say nessarose and elphaba. As for dance, the ensemble has wonderful dance numbers, and if she really is intermediate to advance dancer with that range, than there is a good chance to get into the show as an understudy, which then can get you principle, so she should try.

Your friend sounds like a good fit for Nessarose. Although shes a good dancer none of the named characters require any dance. Also depending on how much time she has left to grow she might not make the 5' 6" average height for a stage actress so being in a wheel chair for most of the show will help.

Well you don't exactly need good dancing for the part. I seen the play, and as good at the plot is,though strongly off the wire from the novel, she doesn't sound bad. Mainly they are looking for people who can act through their singing, and can portray the emotions. However, she should try out for nessarose, she sounds as if she could do it. But I don't exactly know because I would have to hear her voice, and see her acting style. She should be the judge of it,and see the play,if possible in various places, and characterize all the actors and what their strong points are. I seen the chicago branch, they are amazing.

Well, I would think Glinda. I mean, the hair color is kind off, but that can always be fixed. Glinda doesn't really have huge dance numbers, but all of the women in the musical have to be very comfortable with their bodies. They can't be self conscious at all. Glinda more than Elphaba I think.

Since she is quite short and has a pretty high vocal range, I would suggest Glinda. Glinda typically sings the majority of the high notes while Elphaba is the strong belter. Though Glinda is usually portrayed as blonde, your friend could possibly die her hair. I personally think talent is more important than looks anyway.
