Agree with the person above. Check that you do not have a C drive. If you do, when loading the disk, there should be a drag down box somewhere along the set up for which you can selct c drive, although this is usually automatically done.

Any how, lets see if you have enough or any space on your harddrive (HDD).

Open my computer
Right click your HDD (Probably C drive)
Click properties (then on the opened box you should see a pie chart that will tell you if you have any space.)

If you want to delete some things (programs you do not use) go to Control panel in the start menu.
Select "Add or Remove Programs"
Click remove/uninstall on any of the programs you do not use

The above method can be very successful in clearing up lots of space. To clear up a small amount of space simply then just delete or transfer your files to off the computer (to floppy/CD/DVD/Memory USB Stick)

I would also learn how to defragment as this can speed your computer up though not really clear a significant amount of space. To do this right click you C drive, click tools then defragment, the rest is childs play but takes a very long time if not ever done.

The only other solution I have for you is to get a new hard drive. Probably an IDE (type of HDD) one for your computer or if you have enough USB slots, an external HDD. Fitting a new IDE HDD is very simple to me but I use them and fix them very often as mine and friends break now and again but to you, you may be to nervous to do this. If you do want to know then all you do is buy the IDE HDD, select the jumpers (little white things on back of HDD that are one pins) to slave (should be a diagram on the HDD itself). Select the current HDD to master with slave present via the jumpers ( though you may have to take this HDD out to do this.). Screw in all both HDD. Connect the IDE cables (the flat cables). Connect the power cables (the coloured cables with white ends). Reconnect your PC to the mains and switch on. It should be that simple. Make sure before you do this to disconnect ALL cables from the back of the PC, press and hold the power button for around 12seconds as this will clear all electricity from the inside of the PC. I would reccomend to call someone out, either a friend or family member who has done this already and watch them do it.

I think I have gone on enough now, hope this is helpful to you.

It is rather odd that it would be loading onto the D drive as the C drive is usually the default.
That could be why it said you did not have enough disk space.
The D drive on many computers come from the factory as a partitioned section of your hard drive that stores critic system information for restoring and it generally is only a small percent of your total hard drive size.
Check to see if you have a C drive and try loading it on there
To check to see if you have a C drive
Click on START
Select to MY COMPUTER
Under hard drives see if there is a C drive if there is right click and select properties that will tell you how much free space you have.

You have to free up disc space either by dumping files or games or saving them onto CD-ROMs or floppy discs. Right click on a file, press send to, select cd drive or floppy disc drive press send. Be certain that you have a blank CD or floppy disc in the receptacle. Delete file after you have transferred it.

Hi. Take a look at what you have on the disk and remove, or transfer to DVD or CD, any files you do not still use. Download a cleaning program like ' CCleaner ' . http://www.ccleaner.com/ . Then defragment your drive. It may be time to look for another, larger drive.
