India lost the first damn round of the world cup. Just get over it! Don't go burning players houses, unless you think that you could've done any better! Suck it up and stop worrying so much about all the money the Indian cricket board has. Forget about politics and don't act like India's on top of the world because they win ONE match or ONE series. Concentrate on the future and stop fixating on the past!

ummm some bright people like you and me have been saying the same things you said in the question since their whoopin at the hands of Australia in the last world cup...do you think the Indian cricket officials will listen? do you think the politicians will listen? do you seriously think the fans are gonna stop adoring them and not think of them as God?

India lost, but mention must be made of the sportsmanship of Sri Lankans.
At the moment, the whole country is in shambles, the economy is shot, LTTE and Government battles have made life unliveable and sectarian strife has paralysed virtually every system in the island.
With this background, it was quite nice & amusing to see the Attapattus and Jayasurians jumping for joy when our wickets fell. The way they acted as winners and triumphant players was almost good enough to make you forget the deep trouble they face back home, living on International aid - with the world cup or without it.
As for Bangladesh, well, the less said the better.

these people think that india is the top most nation in the world of cricket and can win the world cup very easily
same people who were saying this is the best Indian team ever to assembled for the world cup are now saying this team sucks
2 faced hypocrites
Indian cricket board is the richest board amongst the other cricket playing nation yet they dont even spend 1/4th of it income on the domestic
indian cricket team sucks unless they do some real hardwork and proove that they are one of the best
to all indians, dont be under false impression that your team is one of the best
the fact is your team is one of the poorest performing team in the world
if india was so great then what happened to the so calleds Master Blaster sachin, The Wall Rahul Dravid, youth Icon Dhoni, bengal tiger ganguly and so on
where were they when they were needed
your team sucks plain and simple and i have regrets and shame in saying it

Indian fan's should now understand at great leisure that there are more countries than India which play the greatest game in the solar system. And that the richest cricket body doesn't necessarily have to produce the best cricket.
