Hi there! I don't think that weight should have anything to do with whether or not you wear shorts or skirts. The question is .... "Are you comfortable in skirts and shorts?"
I realize that there are standards for the weight of a 14 year old young lady but I'm sure that you've been to check-ups at your doctor's office and if he hasn't told you that you're too thin or too heavy .... don't worry about it.
At the age of 14 I remember having lots and lots of pier pressure about numerous things. Don't be influenced by what the other girls or guys say or do .... be yourself and whatever you choose to wear ... wear it with confidence!
As long as you're healthy, exercise and don't over eat and enjoy an active, happy life .... you'll be just fine!

There is no such thing as a right weight to wear skirts and shorts. Shorts are very comfortable and you have a right to wear them no matter what size or shape you are now. Summer is not far off, don't spend it suffering in uncomfortable long pants to please anybody. If anybody don't like it they don't have to look. There are always people making remarks and saying things they have no business saying, you have got to ignore people like that and not let them get you down. You are young, enjoy every minute of it. Be proud of the body God gave you. Enjoy your skirts and shorts. Good luck.

I think you should not worry about your weight in order to wear a skirt. If you feel comfortable and healthy, and wear an approriate skirt for your body type than so be it., be proud of your body and don't worry so much** Good Luck

There is no age limit for wearing short clothing. If you want to wear a skirt, go for it! If it is really an issue for you check your BMI. You can do this on numerous websites.

Put them on. If they look good, wear them. I'm about the same height, but I'm a bit heavy and I still wear them. I don't think other people can tell you what you should wear. You need to see yourself in them and make your own determination based on what they look like.

Well, my sister is that age and height, and she is about 107-108. Alot of people consider her too skinny though. Well, she models so thats probably why. Anyway, umm probably not tooooooo skinny, then you have chicken legs. But not more than like 120, 130, only bacuse thighs are a touch wider, and stockier. Also a bit too curvy. Idk, but if thats ur weight, try leggings.

depends on the length, but assuming you're talking about the smallest length which most shorts and skirts are, I'd say at most, 130 lbs. I'm sorry, I can't really know if it's accurate because I'm saying this from memory, but remember, it also matters on your body structure, and how shapely your thighs are.
