You can start your speech with a hook - this will capture your audience's attention and set the tone for your speech. Some hooks include, but are not limited to
1. quotes from well-known figures that pertain to your subject
2. unusual writing, perhaps a bit of poetry or some lyrics from a song, that you found that has a lot to do with your speech
3. if it's an informal speech, you can always capture people's attention by asking a question they can answer, so the audience can feel like they are actually taking part in what you are saying and not just listening
4. start in medias res - this means in the middle of the action, perhaps you should make a statement that calls to people's attention and not explain yourself, until you reach the main topic of your speech

Most people choose to end speeches and essays with clinchers. The word clincher refers to the last couple of lines of your writing that leave the listeners with a final impression. The clincher must be a general statement about human nature or something that everyone can connect to. If you were making a speech about how bad drugs are, your clincher cannot be something like "Marijuana can kill your neurons", you have to say something like "Humankind has the choice between good and evil; I choose good" something like that. Something about humanity and your main topic, just make sure it's something universal and that people can relate to.
You can always finish your speech with another quote as well, and a quick reflection on your quote.

Just make sure to check out some figures who wrote and delivered speeches beautifully like,
Martin Luther King
Jonathan Edwards
John F. Kennedy

Many persuasive speeches contain
allusions, emotionally charged language, elevated language, sophisticated word-choice, and so on.

I hope this helped!

A good way to start a speech is with a story. Tell a short, vivid story relating to the subject of your speech.

For example, you might start, "Imagine this. You are watching TV when..."

Or, the story might be personal. Maybe your family member, a friend, or you experienced something that relates to your speech. Tell that story.

Another good way is with a quote. Give a quote from a famous person that relates to the speech.

Or, you can startle the audience. Say something really shocking that will grab their attention. Make sure it relates to the speech.

To conclude, it can be a good idea to refer back to the introduction. This works particularly well if you told a story in the introduction; you can end the story in the conclusion.

Be sure to cite all of your sources within the speech.

May God bless you.

Well for one,you need to plan it. Make a overview of all you are doing. Make small summaries,of the key points you must address, and your audience. Making sure you are addresssing your key audience is a big thing. First of all,if everyone has a different topic, you should bring out what this is,and then address the abuses. Always starting out with a key, imaginative, and captivating comparison, always does the trick. Also, extended metaphors, give the readers to compare, and meditate on...Good luck

Here's a few starters...

What is history? There is but no definition, yet i will explain only the slightest glimpse of it today.

Our past resides in a simple word; history.

Um...Endings:

Nvm i'm not good at endings. I've rewritten my book ending thirty times and it's still not right.
