I was wondering if it was too late for me to start taking piano lessons. I'm 17. I had taken lessons 2 years ago and quit after 2 months... I didn't like the teacher at all. I was doing very well and my friends said I had musical talents. Should I retake lessons? Is it too late, can I still play the piano well?

I knew a lady who started piano lessons at the age of 88. You are not too late

As long as you love the piano and music, you'll go far.

If you really want to take lessons - I think that's the best time. And age has nothing to do with it. If you want to, you'll do even better.

its never too late dont let anyone tell you otherwise, besides you'll regret it when you're older and have arthritis
just stretch out those fingers and try to get them loose again

it's never too late, but the sooner you start when you're young, the better.
