how come u dont wanna accept it? Ur frends the same person he was before u knew he was gay. Im 13 and i no that. U shouldn't stop bein frends with someone cuz they are different. If everyone was only frends with people who were the same as them, no one would have any frends.

What is there to accept? This person is your friend, so why would learning about their sexuality change that? They are the same person they always were.... Are you afraid that your friend will make a move on you? Many people have that misconception and it is just that... a misconception.
Don't be so closed minded and remember why you became friends in the first place. Obviously you shared some of the same interests and had things in common, so why not accept and embrace the diversity of your friend?
I think if you do, you'll find yourself to be happier and easier to understand your friends position.

I know this is really weird but imagine if the whole world was gay. And instead of gays being disapporved of, hetros were disapproved. Just imagine how you'd feel man. You'd feel like you're completely normal yet to others you'll seem abnormal. It'll would seriously hurt. So don't treat your mate any differently. The reason most people think gays are nasty is because its something different to what they're used to. Like racism, this is a phase of the earth's growth - it'll pass trust me - you'll see - if it doesn't - then i a closeted gay guy -haha- will find a cure to turn hetros into gays - haha got ya! - you thought i'd say cure gays didn't you?!!!!!! HEHEHE happy days my friend! (no i'm not crazy)

Maybe he doesn't want to accept the fact that you are straight what do you think about that!
Maybe he has a number of things about you that he doesn't like or want to accept or deal with either so just know it is a two way street man.
If he is gay he was made that way just like you were made the way you are so don't hate man just love.

The one thing they probally need the most right now is a friend. Your friend is still the same person., And your friend came out to you because they probally felt that you would be accepting and helpful. So thats what you should be. Let your friend know that your there for them.

Y would u care? r u the gay one, no! so this person just choose a different life style. U don't have to accept it, it's not like their going to talk about have sex w/ who ever! Just tell'em that it makes u feel kinda wierded out, and u still love em for who they r not wht they do!

it wont change anything you just may get a few akward mment where hes like OOOO BRad Pitt is soo effin sexy it may make you feel a little akward but what the **** youll get over it dnt worry hes still the same guy.Who he has sex with or what he does behind closed doors has nothing to do with you. I have a cousin who is gay.. Just because they are gay you do not have to stop being their friend. It took me a while I kind of had a idea that my cousin was gay it did not surprise me when they told me. We are still friends today and I would never mistreat them.

This is your problem not your friends. You liked this person before why would it change now just because he/she has a lifestyle you don't like? You shouldn't judge him/her part of being a friend is loving them unconditionally and being there when they need you the most. This person need your support and a true friend sees the person not their sexual prefence.

if it's our true Friend then you will find it in your heart to accept it no matter how you may feel so think if this person is important to you if so accept them before you loose them
