Where are black people more prone to crime?

They are oppressed; they are discriminated against, and are not given equal education, equal employment and therefore they are more prone to poverty and lower income. Lower income people are more prone to crime and are more likely to be convicted and put in jail than is a higher income person that has committed the same crime.

This was not based on my opinion just statistical data sampled all over the United States by qualified statisticians. First of all the inner city is where. Now lets get to the what. As far as crime goes, it depends on the type of crime. Black persons usually commit the majority of "passion" crimes, crimes that are spur of the minute. White are more prone to premeditated crime, ie hiring a hit man. Now I will not say that one is better than the other. I will try and be unbiased in my response, ok. Blacks lead crime statistics in muggings, larceny, 2nd degree murder and manslaughter (w/out premeditation) assault, drug, and grand theft auto, also hit and run fatalities.

Whites lead in child molestion, sexual acts against nature, 1st degree murder, embezzelment, incestuous molestation, serial rape and murder, and production of crystal meth.

There is some crimes that whites and blacks are neck to neck like DUI/DWI, shoplifting, DWLR.

The thing is unlike some of the respondants have said, the crime rate has little to nothing to do with race. Poverty is one area where you see a lot of drug, murder and larceny.

Yet the most common denominator is not race at all. It is age. The younger the age bracket, the more crime statistics that you find.35-45 is bad, but the crime statistics for people that are between 18-30 is tremendous.

I think that blacks are prone to crime because of two things. First, alot of blacks don't have patience. I am a black man and sometime I can't wait to get something new I see on TV. So instead of waiting we sometime go get it and sometimes the way we get things we want might not be the right way. The other thing is that alot of blacks want is respect weather it be male or female, that's why when you hear the phrase "why you disrespecting me " alot of times. that might be because that's how we are raised not to disrespect our elders so when we get older we want the same. The younger African American youth who see the rappers on TV feel that they need it right now " this is where I stress the patience issue". If you don't give them the respect that they thing they deserve then there might be a problem. Don't get me wrong I am not dogging my black people just don't think that we are all the way you see on TV. people in all races are prone to crime just not one, you just don't see alot of whites because things that can be kept under the rug will be kept there. even if you compare a trailer park and black community the crime in the park is less than the crime in the black community. you may have bertha getting into fights with jr. but no killings or violent crimes like you do in the black community. there is already 30 killings in New Orleans. that's just one black community in this country. imagine if you add the crime from detroit, philly, new york, milwaukee, chicago, etc
