Cruisin' has been done well by two distinct acts.

Smokey Robinson did an outstanding R&B take on it the first time. Then, rocker Huey Lewis and actress Gwyneth Palthrow sang it as a duet nicely as well.

It's called "Cruisin". The original was done by Smokey Robinson in 1979. More recently it was covered by Huey Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow from the movie "Duets" which came out in 2000.

Yup, it's "Cruisin'" originally sung by Smokey Robinson. And in addition to the Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis duet, it was also covered by neo-soul artist D'Angelo in 1995.

Go with the Smokey Robinson version. The other is fine, but you can't beat the original!
