Yes, I have PCOS and I am doing acupuncture now. I figure it can't hurt, and for whatever reason, studies have shown that it does help in combination with standard medical treatment.
Be sure whoever you go to has "LAC" as part of their title. This stands for licensed accupuncturist. You don't just want anyone to be poking you... other than your partner, and hey, that's a little different! LOL...
I will not see a non-Chinese acupuncturist. I'd rather let someone trained "at the source" work on me, than someone trained in the West. The needles have to be placed in a precise location at a precise depth. You can't expect results from an inexpert practitioner.

Have you tried charting first? I would definitely recommend that before invasive procedures (even though accupuncture is an Eastern medicine, I still think it's invasive because they're sticking needles in you, lol.) I would recommend reading the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", it has a whole section on PCOS. I think this would be much cheaper than doing accupuncture and a good thing to try before going to accupuncture (you could possibly use it in conjunction with accupuncture too!)
