Hi Smee,
I don't like being "smarmy",
But I do bit parts, and was a warrior in Raiders of the Lost Ark
The stupid looking bloke at the back with a big black wig on.
I kid you not, I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time !
My moments of fame, being added to an Anglia TV thing interveiwing me about the local state of the council. Broadcast on the local news thing.
There you go.
Bob.

I was also on Going Live back in the late 80s. Ten years later, I worked on a record stall in Camden market that used to sell the occasional bootleg CD (I emphasise the word bootleg, ie live recordings, as opposed to pirate/counterfeit goods). Anyway, we were busted by the police and the BPI, and they had a BBC film crew in tow. The bust was shown in a documentary on BBC2! Hardly fame, I know, but it gave me a degree of notoriety amongst friends and acquaintances.

yes. local bbc tv. i was featured in an article in a consumers rights programme. a bit like watchdog only they deal with local issues.
why? a slimming pill company sent me a letter saying a friend had been in touch with them basically recommending me for the pills. i knew it was crap by how it was written and the fact i'm only 9 stone, but i thought if someone who was overweight had got this letter it could have a serious affect on them. i phoned the show and they took on the case.

Been on Kilroy twice, when he was having a regular morning slot on T.V. was there in capacity of counsellor/therapist, assisting in answering questions and airing views !
Have also appeared on Radio 4 & 5 in the same capacity and sitting in on phone-in shows too !
Picture has been published in various magazines and journals that i have written articles for.
The most comical photo published was in a naturist magazine quite a few years ago of me cutting down a tree with a chainsaw , in the buff !!!
( could have been dangerous that one , with a slip of the wrist !......lol)

Yes - I've been in the papers because I made a rather important scientific discovery. Not telling you which or it would give away my identity.
