Yes Steve McClaren should go, immediately if not sooner! In fact he should never have been appointed. Don't forget that he was Sven's 'right hand man', how can part of the problem be the solution?

Five games without a win is simply not good enough.

The FA are still paying Sven, what they should have done is left him in charge until a SUITABLE replacement was found.

We need a manager who regularly gets results without spending millions, you can't buy players to get you out of trouble with the national squad.

Harry Redknapp or Sam Allardyce would be my choice.

yes i think he should just be sacked. England needs a coach who is going to make their players play at the high level they are capable of.

I know he hasnt had the healthest team in europe the past few matches, as it seems everybody has had some type of injury but thats no excuse.

England is undoubtedly among the top 5 in the world when it comes to pure talent but they have no leader. I like John Terry he is a great back and a worthy captain, but England needs someone who will take control of their attack. both Gerrard and Lampard are incredible but they cant work together and neither steps up as a leader when they play.

England needs a leader in the midfield, every great team has one(look at last years world cup finalists). I dont know if one of these two has to step up or maybe shake things up and bring back beckham. But regardless they need someone to lead their attack, if McClaren cant find someone to fill that role then he should sacked and replaced by a coach that can.

McClaren absolutely be sacked here are four reasons why.

He dismissed Beckham for reasons other than football.
He cannot see that Terry and Gerrard cant play together in the midfield.
He refused to name Beckham back to the team when he was clearly playing well.
He is a poor in game manager.

Yes he has lost the dressing room so he has to go. You have the players to do the job but if there not motivated you dont stand a chance. Take Scotland for example there doing great with only 5% of the pool England has.

To whoever says its the players fault:
1.The players can't perform their best if the manager is a clue-less idiot
2.Look at Sunderland before Roy Keane came and look at Sunderland after Roy Keane came.
3.We have couple of world class players but when playing for England they look like a bunch of guys from League 2.
4.Some of the players are the driving forces for their clubs but are nothing for England.(Terry, Lampard, Gerrard, Hargreaves, Rooney, Johnson).

Just some things to proove that its all the idiots fault that we call our manager.

get rid of McClaren, he's got all the same ideas as Sven an he's drafting in shite players into the England squad saying he's giving the young players a chance. England need someone who will make their best players get their heads out of their ***- especially someone like Lampard who plays like **** in an England shirt!

I know how you feel but who is going to take up this poison cup of the England managers job we have tried everything Passion Keegan. A mercenary Ericcson. And this non entity we have now god only knows what we should do. Perhaps Terry Venables but again who says he will not fall on his **** perhaps we start looking at our players because half the time they look like they dont give a toss.

he should leave because if you lot dont soon get a manager who knows what he's at you will be missing out on the europeon championships.
he lacks the tactical knowledge and abilities it requires to manage at international level. it takes a bit more than a couple of quick wingers to win at this level as the game is more technical than in the prem.
he keeps wasting steve gerrard while playing lampard in the centre and no offence to andy johnston but he's not international class. darren bent should be starting ahead of him every time.

Why did anyone think he would make a difference when he sat next to the Swede all those years .He should never have had the job in the first place, still relying on the same underperformers.
Maybe the Pakistani bookmakers have got to them.
