I already know I should got to thier events, but I do not know where they are located to go to their events. Can someone please give me some insight as to what to do and who to talk to.

I would suggest that you contact the Broward County Chapter -- or go back to the chapter where you pledged - they should be able to guide you to the point of contacts.

call the chapter and tell them who u r and what u want and i'm sure they will b glad to welcome u
