It depends on where you live.
What makes you think global warming is real? Was it the way the Sahara desert changed from farmland into a desert?
Yeah, that really scares me too. It must have been green house gases from all the UFOs the ancient Egyptians were flying around in while they built the pyramids.

Yes it is illegal to stand on the side of the road on the interstate. You have to stay on the entrance ramp.
It is actually illegal for you to stand on the side of the road even in the grassy part.

First off, the earth was in a cooling period from about 1940-1965, at a time where emissions were pretty high.
Secondly--interstate highways are LIMITED ACCESS highways. You're not allowed to walk along them (unless your car has broken down).

If you don't llitter and park and stay away from the edge of the road,(for safety reasons)
I don't think you'll have problem.
Be safe..check with police first.
We were protesting once, and a police car stopped. He asked us to please stand back from the edge ofthe road, (we agreed, and he left.)
