What is the number of the bus that will get me there please. I have not been to Dublin before.

When you exit the airport terminal, look for the 747 double decker bus. First you must buy a ticket from one of the machines, so have small denomination notes handy. The driver does not take money.
Buy a return ticket.
Tell the driver where you want to go or ask somebody in the terminal building.
The tourist office is located to the left as you exit the baggage hall, but before you leave the building.
Get off at aston Quay and ask a local where is Parliament St.
You will walk thru Temple bar on your way there.
Enjoy Dublin, but remember it is a big city with big city problems like public drunkeness, drugs and street violence especially at night.
Keep your wits about you, your comments in a low voice and enjoy the vibrancy of this great city.

You can get a 747 bus and get off at Aston Quay and you will have about a 5 minute walk{at most}. You can tell the driver where you want to go or ask anyone for directions in the street on how to get to Parliament St. It's easy.

jump on the dart train into the city centre, then get a taxi. it will be quite cheap that way. dont get a taxi from the airport.
