I am decideing a critical decision. I deleted my lvl 60 ROUGE. As I wanted to get away from the pressure of being a main focus, and i'm making a new charecter. I want one which attacks range and I want a pet as well so that gives me two choices:

-Warlock

-Hunter

--------

I'd like to attack from a distance hiting good damage! Probley like to sabotage a bit and try and kill the foe as quickly as possible but having fun by sabotageing.

I am thinking longterm (60 or more).

The choices I will make when decided will either be:

HORDE

-Undead ~ Warlock
-Orc ~ Hunter

---------
I know it's hard, but i'd love you so much if you guys can help me thanks =D

60 Alliance Warlock on PvP server. I think i wasted my time. Continual nerfs and bugs that will never be fixed have ruined the class. Add in Shards and it's more like a second job than playing a game.

Warlocks are so gimped in PvP it's not funny. There are three things you can do to make them viable:

1. Play Horde
2. Get Engineering
3. Go Demonology build

The people with these things are the ones who don't think Warlocks are broke, and actually can do a pretty good job at PvP. Unfortunately, it means we all have to play the same character or die miserably.

As a Warlock i get more random invites for the instances my class is nearly required for. This is fine if i want to keep running these same instances over and over. However, with a decent guild this doesn't really matter. You will have the opportunity to join groups going to many different instances.

I've parked my Warlock and now have a Hunter. Hunter feels much more polished. There aren't glaring weaknesses with no counters. I take no time at all to recover from a death. I am much harder to Corpse Camp. I can buy my ammo pretty cheap instead of flying to a far off place to grind mobs. I get better armor. My abilities aren't dependant on what pet i have out at the time. No one can run away from me. People do not attack me first in a group because they know my defenses suck big hairy donkey balls. I can CC something with Freeze Trap and my pet can still do something else. I kill stuff a little faster and still don't have downtime.

People say Warlocks are a complex class. Hunter is at least as complicated as far as sheer number of abilities available. The only thing "complex" about Warlock is figuring out how to get the right pet out before you need it. It's "complex" because you're always having to figure out how to dig yourself out of the craphole you immediately stepped in to once someone of the opposite faction sees you because half of your abilities blow shards for spells that are only considered decent, or are just plain not available because you have the wrong pet out. Hey, you can get shards in PvP now. Great, too bad you'll use 2-3 per fight, but can only get back one if you're lucky.

Warlock is the hardest class in the game to play by an exponential margin not because it's "complex", but because of all the BS you have to put up with. WARLOCK IS NO MORE COMPLEX THAN HUNTER!

The only thing i think a Warlock has going for it over a Hunter is Soulstones and Banish. That's what gets you invited to a group. Other than that, Hunter is a much more well thought out and implemented class, i.e. a lot funner without the BS.

Also on the Alliance side you're pretty much guaranteed all the high end Mail drops. You're not competing with 2 other classes for the same stuff.

I think you would probably have more ways to develop your character as a Warlock. Also, some groups seem to have a problem with more hunters than they need. Depending on the minion you use you can 'tank' a main target or just go 'psycho' on easier numerous targets. The professions you choose will make a difference.

I think you should be a Blood Elf Warlock. Hunters are cool but warlocks are better. Go onto the realm Anvilmar and my name on it is Råpture.

not something is "greater effectual" than the different... i know an excellent variety of people that may PvP greater effectual than PvE, and vise versa... i know rogues that may consume paladins for lunch, I additionally know paladins that may walk by using hell and dad out the different part just about unscathed... (it rather is me =P) This all boils all the way down to what you're maximum mushy with, i like my mage, yet there are issues i do in comparison to approximately him, he does not rez or heal, and he can not take valuable like my pally, druid, shaman or DK can... inspite of the undeniable fact that, he does everyday 7,000+ DPS in raids. none of my different toons can do this. in spite of this, my mage has the optimal kit score of all my toons, and that i take advantage of him the main. So it particularly boils all the way down to 3 issues... Do you like Melee or ranged DPS? do you like Tanking, healing or DPS? what expertise tree are you occurring? (Frost, hearth or Arcane for a mage) Do you like PvE or PvP? particular, there are thoroughly diverse solutions to each and each of those questions... working example, my Mage is Arcane for PvE and Frost for PvP, thoroughly diverse varieties of struggling with, thoroughly diverse kit. My Paladin is a Tank and DPS, so secure practices and Retribution respectively... my Warlock is Destruction and illness... my druid is stability and fix... my Shaman is Elemental and Enhancement... they are all VERY diverse and all do thoroughly fairly some issues... you ought to ask your self what you like your character to do... As you will discover, I unquestionably have especially a lot each and everything coated... because of the fact i like fairly some issues, I at the instant have 6 point 80 characters and dealing on a seventh as I write this.... i've got confidence that the alternative can in basic terms be your guy or woman, and once you're making that selection, you ought to ask "what's the final thank you to point a (spec) (type)" and what variety of factors do i ought to stack? those are the questions that people can answer for you. good success on your corporation and happy looking.
