Are you asking what creates eye color? Or, why do different eye colors exist.

I would hazard that it has something to do with where your ancestors lived. Darker colors for places with a ton of sunlight and lighter colors for places with little sunlight.

i believe we have different eye color because of genetics, lighting (how much light there is where you live), and different colors of the iris. at least thats what i think.

According to wikipeadia it is due to amount of pigment in the iris.

Pigments in your eyes' that are made by chromosomes, I'm pretty sure, I think?
