Every Saturday they play episodes from American Idol season 1 and Justin apologized for doing something previously and also Simon keeps talking about how he did something stupid but he is a good person, but they arent coming out and saying what it was that he did that they keep talking about. I came in on the middle of this season and I didnt see it at all when it first aired, so could someone please tell me what in the world was the big screw up that he did.

I had the same question as I am watching rewind myself (but on Sundays.) The ebst answer I could find was this quote from an article by Laura Tucker
"Justin let his early success go to his head a little bit, though, and after he was panned by Simon, he asked the crowd in the auditorium what they thought of his performance, in an effort to go over Simon's head, obviously thinking the only people's opinions that mattered with the audience. He apologized the following evening, but nonetheless, the next week, he found himself in the bottom three, much more humbled, yet survived. "
It seems a lot more tame than what they made it out to be.

Right now he's on a show about American Idol on the TV Guide Channel, I believe called Idol Talk. Him, Kimberly Caldwell from season 2, and someone named Rosanna Taverez.

He got quite rude at times. Besides, he wasn't the best singer they had. Don't get me wrong, he was great. But some of his actions were a turn-off.
