After a day which has given me the pleasure of the Republic's win back home and seeing the joy of mates when Beattie of the SPL Champs scoring a winner nothing else could round off a day when the TV was full of great wembley occasions (66 boring still living off that one), I laughed my b######s off at the lack of passion shown by the English. Until such a time comes when your team pulls the England shirt on for pride and is willing to play through the pain barrier you ain't gonna win jack ****. Yes the English team were pish, it will be interesting to hear what those famous English pundits, Hansen and Gray have to say on the matter.

Although the team is quite good, they are nowhere near as good as the media or the majority of fans think they are.
Having said that, they are still Britain's no.1 football country. I thought Scotland had won the world cup judging by the post match reaction.

The Scots should enjoy it while it lasts because I predict that France and Italy will get their act together soon and Scotland will fail yet again to reach the finals of a major tournament.
As for England, yes it looks like the players just don't care about playing for their country.

i think its terrible slagging off the English team. they are fine players with a truly brilliant manager. all they need is a wee bit of luck and it will all come good. if you believe the above ,you will also believe you can parcel fog. regards from Scotland

Other teams feel sorry for Scotland because they never win anything so everyone takes it easy with them to cheer them up a bit.
