Send a thank you note.

You should always do this, but ESPECIALLY if you think you may have done something to weaken your chances.

In the thank you note, you should thank the people who saw you, restate your desire to work for them, bring up anything you forgot to mention, and restate your qualifications.

Less than 2% of people send thank you notes. The mere fact that you did can bump you from the bottom to the top.

I was totally nervous for my interviews. The first couple were absolutely dreadful. I recommend having friends, relatives, or teachers give you practice interviews. Or, just apply at a bunch of places that you don't actually want to work at just so you can get some interview practice in.

When I got my current job, I thought the interview had just gone so-so. I felt like my voice was shaking the whole time and that I didn't answer the questions specifically enough. I was too worried about "looking and sounding" professional. Try your best to just be yourself, which is much easier said than done.

Even if you are nervous, hopefully the interviewer will look past that. Most people ARE nervous when they go for an interview. Make sure you have an excellent resume and are able to provide specific examples of your accomplishments in your previous positions. Also, relate prior experience to the job you're interviewing for whenever you have the opportunity.

Good luck!

I've interviewed many people for jobs. I know that nearly all interviewees are nervous and I judge them on many things, not strictly by what they say in any given answer. Even if you don't get the job, it may have less to do with how your interview went and more to do with someone else's interview or qualifications.

When you go into an interview make a game of it. Relax. Breath. Pretend you are acting but be yourself. Show confidence. Everyone is nervous even the interviewer.

Most people are nervous during an interview. I think they take that into account. Do your best, and let the chips fall where they may.

Better take a deep breath first, then imagine that you already have it and how happy you are.
If you can`t snap out of it, then you probably are too negative and if you are too negative that means that you are imagining that you won`t get it and you won`t get it.
