He really just doesn't seem to try that hard. He is slow to get back on D and after the game he not happy or excited to win or anything...no emotion.. He plays wit no emotion!!! Is he just buying his time til he gets to the league?

Dearheart... it's "biding", not "buying", and no, I don't think he is. He seems, to me, to be a Duncan type: a player who just plays without expressing himself too much. That's probably not going to magically change next year when he's playing for the Celtics. Besides, with all the pressure on him to be the second coming of Bill Russel, he probably feels more relieved than happy when he wins.

That's exactly what he's doing. The only reason he's in college is because the NBA changed its rules and now you can't go straight from high school to the NBA. You have to wait a year.

Greg Oden doesn't seem ready for the NBA. Another year waiting would benefit him more.

Yes he is doing that. Then in the NBA he will all of those things like be a good defender and all of that other stuff.
