I bought sim city4 and am trying to install it. i accidently put in disk 2 and now my disk drive won;t open when i push the button. Is there another way to open the disk drive?

Us ethe emergency eject button. Look on the front of the drive and you should see a small pin hole. Use a paperclip and push it into the hole. That will manually open the cd door.

all disk drives come with a manual open(at least all that Ive seen). Look for a small little hole on the front of the drive. Its only big enough for a paper clip. Use a paper clip or bobby pin and push it in the hole. Push it in till the drive pops open.

Yes. Get a stiff paper clip and bend 1/2 of it straight. There will be a small hole near the door. Push slowly and firmly into the hole with the paper clip and it will open.

Usually grab a paper clip or something similar.Theres a little hole stick it in there and it will manually open the tray.

go to my computer.right click on the cd rom drive icon and select eject or open...good luck
