You really should not be douching at all, unless ordered to by a doctor. If you must, use distilled white vinegar, not apple cider vinegar. Try soaking in a warm tub instead, and gently washing.

No. Apple cider vinegar, white and red wine vinegars, and balsamic do not have the acidity levels to keep infection away. Plus, they are considered to have food particles, something you don't want in your vagina.

White vinegar is the only thing recommended for douching because it has the correct acid level to prevent infection.

Use 1 teaspoon of vinegar to 1 quart of warm water.

While they say not to douche at all, some women feel much cleaner when they do. Afte the period is usually the time when women want to because they want to feel clean after that monthly nastiness.

Forget commercial douches and vinegar...just use some warm water (filtered is best) so that you don't mess up the pH of your vagina too much.

please don't douche at all. douching upsets the balance of beneficial organisms and causes problems like yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis.

your vagina is like a self-cleaning oven, in that it is self-cleaning.
