A Pain in the Brain
If there is no physical reason for you to have abdominal pain, the pain in your gut may really be a pain in your brain. If you are very worried about something, you can get sharp pains in your stomach. Lots of kids do!

If you think this is happening to you, sit down with someone you trust and talk about what's happening in your life. Are you stressed about a bully at school? Are you worried that you won't get good grades? Are your parents fighting a lot? Did you do something you wish you hadn't? Talk it out. Many times, stressful worries become less stressful when they're out in the open - instead of inside your stomach.

When you talk, make sure you find out what you can do about having less stress in your life so you can get rid of that painful nervous stomach.

Bye-Bye Bellyaches
If it turns out that you have appendicitis, you will need an operation called an appendectomy. But more often, your doctor will want to ask you questions and maybe do some tests. Your doctor may suggest you take some medicine or he or she might give you special instructions for eating to help your body heal the problem.

The doctor may want to take small sample of your blood and have it tested. Or the doctor may ask you to have an X-ray or an ultrasound. These tests give the doctor more information about what's going on inside you. Another test called an endoscopy uses a special camera to look at your gastrointestinal tract.

If stress seems to be causing your stomach problems, your doctor may recommend a specialist, such as a psychologist. These experts can help kids figure out the source of the stress and help them come up with some ideas for how to fix the problems or handle them better.

If you'd like to prevent bellyaches, here are some good tips to follow:

Don't overeat.
Eat fiber-rich foods, such as fruits and vegetables, so your bowel movements are regular.
Wash your hands before eating.
Don't eat right before bedtime.
Get lots of sleep so your body doesn't get run down.

Its probably just a nervous or anxious stomach. I am sorry you are having such a rough time at school. Kids can be so cruel. What I think is amazing, is that you are obviously an intelligent kid, with a tremendous amount of value. You are valuable, you are worthy of being treated as such. Is there a parent or counselor that you can talk to? The stress can also cause ulcer's, so be careful not to internalize all of that frustration that you are feeling. Journal it, write it out, talk about it. See what you can do to dissassociate yourself from them. Do you have a repertoire of comebacks for their teasing? I am a whiz at comebacks. Practice them. Don't be insulting. But have something as a comeback. Run them by people you trust. So they can give you an honest opinion! Hey, you are an awesome kid! You are going to be an awesome adult. Funny how when we are all grown up, school crud never seems to matter... Good luck, and remember, God doesn't make junk!

It feels like an Ulcer and it will turn into an Ulcer if you don't get someone to listen to you and try to get things straightened out. Kids can be so cruel. Talk to a favorite Aunt, Uncle, guidance counselor, nurse, teacher etc. until someone gets you some satisfaction. Your education is very important and if they are picking on you, of course you can't concentrate and get good grades.I assume you have already talked to your parents and got nowhere. Talk to them again. Good luck and try to stay strong!

Teasing and taunting occur through much of life .
The best solution is to practice some snappy one liner comebacks . . .
When someone starts taunting you , say ,
Geez , were you born that dumb or did your mommy drop you on your head ?
OR I hope you have a big inheritance coming in because you won't make it past junior high , lame O.

Tease them about dumb behavior but avoid making fun of looks because that would make you a dummy too .

You can probably think of better -
Work on your one liners . . .
Much better than hiding at home in the closet !
