It could be - but it would seem off for a fuel pump to work fine for ten minutes and THEN pack up.

I would be very interested to know if the ten minutes is MUCH shorter if the engine is already warm - if this was the case, then if the car is a carburettor version (as opposed to injection), I would be wondering if the fuel was getting vaporised too early in a hot engine bay.

Ignition leads CAN sometimes be temperature tetchy - but USUALLY they work best when warm (and thus not damp)

Can you please add a bit (a lot!?) more info - does the car restart? Is it temp dependent? Is the stall total and instant - or does it run rough first, how old is the car, injection or carb?

Please tell us a LOT more and we might have a better chance at hlpeing ya :)

Could be a bad fuel pump, a bad coil, a bad ignition module, a bad sensor. The list will go on and on. Have your car scanned and this will shorten the list.

Could be a dirty gas tank, as that might allow some gas to seep into the lines, slowly, enough to run the car for only ten minutes.

I would check for a bad coil and also for a small hole in the fuel supply, which could suck air causing and air lock. sometimes a coil will work for awhile until it gets hot then it quits.

Had the same problem with my Saturn. It turned out to be a bad 02 sensor.

It could be that, or your fuel filter could be full of trash. Does it run rough when it does run?
